Denise Gredler, is founder of BestCompaniesAZ, an Arizona based human resource consulting firm. Her business mission and personal passion is to partner with Valley organizations to help them build or strengthen “great workplaces.”

Denise has over 20 years experience as a human resource (HR) generalist and 10 years management experience in corporate culture development. Over the past 4 years, Denise worked with profit and non-profit organizations in the areas of HR Benchmarking, evaluating HR effectiveness, and setting up HR infrastructures that fit each client’s unique needs. Her clients say that when working with her she brings competence, commitment and integrity to everything that she does for and with them.

Prior to starting her own consulting firm, Denise served as vice president with the human resources department of FINOVA Capital Corporation. During her long tenure at FINOVA, she was instrumental in building a centralized human resource department for what was then a small subsidiary with approximately 150 employees, into a decentralized human resources department for a public company with more than 1,400 employees nationwide.

In this demanding role, Denise was responsible for cultivating the company’s dynamic work culture, which received an impressive ranking of #12 and #16 on Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work for in America list in 1999 and 2000. She created and implemented work/life initiatives, recruitment and retention strategies, HR surveys and employee communications. Denise also led and managed a decentralized team of 12 HR managers and assistants, and had corporate responsibility for staffing and recruitment, culture development, reward and recognition programs, employee relations, salary administration and policy development.

Today Denise is most proud of the fact that she is the founding business partner of the Best Places to Work in the Valley competition, working in collaboration with The Phoenix Business Journal, and founder of the Best Workplace Practices forum and BestCompaniesAZ.com website.

Denise believes that organizations become great because of their people. As a Human Resources expert she is passionate about helping corporate cultures continually recognize that the well being of their employees must always come first.

Kelly Dunn

Kelly Dunn is theDirector of Programs & Events for the BestCompaniesAZ team.  She is responsible for account management, coordination of all networking events, trade shows, career fairs and, most importantly, The Business Networking / Career Event, which highlights the Valley’s “Best Places to Work” list winners. She is also responsible for office management duties, overseeing all marketing, advertising, e-blast and web projects operating as liaison between partners, clients’ files, employee delegation and assisting the president.

Prior to joining BCAZ, Kelly was the sole Business Development Manager for the Southeast Valley for North American Title Company, where she was the liaison between the escrow staff, the Realtors and their clients. She was responsible for all event coordination and marketing activities. Kelly was an active member of the Southeast Valley Association of Realtors and was the Chairperson for the 2007 SEVRAR Golf Play Day. She also co-chaired the 3rd Annual North American Title Safety and Self-Defense Seminar in 2007.

Kelly’s career in Arizona began at the Plant Stand of Arizona when she moved to Arizona in 2003 from Ohio and became the Merchandising Representative for six Home Depot accounts. She was promoted after six months to the In-House Clients Relations Manager where she managed all in-house client accounts.

Lea Bosquez is a Senior Human Resources (HR) Consultant for BestCompaniesAZ, an Arizona based Human Resource consulting firm.  Lea has almost 30 years experience in multiple HR disciplines with expertise in Benefits, Compensation, HR Management, Staffing and Organization Development.  Lea’s true talent is in the area of Organization, Management and Employee Development.  She has developed and led a variety of high level programs including a customized MBA program in partnership with the University of Arizona, College of Business.  In her most recent corporate experience, she was responsible for the organization’s succession planning and subsequent management/career development.  Lea develops individual development plans in conjunction with 360 degree feedback sessions for high potential and management employees.  She has led numerous employee and management teams created to design or improve company-wide programs such as on-line objective setting and performance assessments.  Lea’s ability to build strong relationships, understanding and integrating client expectations is the foundation for her success.  Lea is organized, attentive to details and recognizes the importance of deeply rooted relationships in providing exceptional service.  She believes that employees should love what they do at work and does her best to help them identify and do just that.

Bev Gant is a Senior Human Resources (HR) Consultant with BestCompaniesAZ, an Arizona based Human Resource Consulting Firm.  Bev has over 15 years experience as a human resource (HR) generalist, and has spent the past 11 years working in a management role with DMB Associates, Inc., a Scottsdale based real estate development company and FINOVA Capital Corporation, a commercial finance company (which was ranked a Best Place to Work ranking #12 and #16 in 1999 and 2000).

While at FINOVA Bev worked in various progressive HR roles as the company moved from a small subsidiary of 150 employees into a publicly traded company of 1,400 employees.  Bev was instrumental in implementing staffing processes, training new HR professionals on those processes, recruitment, managing the HRIS system, and also provided HR generalist support to the Specialty Finance Group.

Bev is a seasoned professional in all facets of HR with a specialization in process improvement, HR start-ups, and employee relations. Her customers commended her on her outstanding customer service and organizational skills, “can do” attitude and professional approach in dealing with employee relations.

Patti H. Stoner, SPHR, is Senior Human Resource Consultant for BestCompaniesAZ.  She is a management consultant whose senior management and human resources experience spans over 20 years. She has successfully worked with client companies to find creative, cost-effective solutions to their unique business challenges.

Before coming to BestCompaniesAZ, Patti was Director of Human Resources at Troxell Communications. During her career, she has served as the Director of Human Resources for companies ranging in size from 30 to 450 employees. She has worked with companies in such diverse industries as high technology, health care, non-profit and professional services.  Patti also headed her own HR consultancy firm for five years. 

Patti received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), the highest professional certification given by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).  She recently served as President of the Valley of the Sun Human Resource Association, a SHRM affiliate chapter with 500 members and three chapter locations.  Patti serves on the VSHRA and AZ SHRM boards and volunteers for Make-a-Wish, Valley Youth Theatre and Arcadia High School.
